..there was a little girl who felt everything.
She watched the world with wide eyes, always slightly apart from it—an observer, a dreamer, a noticer of small things. While other kids played loudly, she traced shapes in the dirt, drew faces on the backs of notebooks, wrote stories for the characters living in her imagination.
It was quiet, sometimes too quiet.
Lonely, sometimes painfully so.
